After reading the other reviews I felt confident that David and his property would be fantastic and I was right! Highly recommended the property: the location is spot on and despite being very close to town itโ€™s lovely and quiet. No designated parking but plenty of side street spaces within 2 min walk. The area feels very safe and at no point did we worry abut the car or walking around at night. David as a host is extremely hospitable and responsive- answering any queries and questions via text and calls. Canโ€™t fault him! We will certainly be back and I only hope that by writing this review it doesnโ€™t mean itโ€™s overbooked and I canโ€™t get in! :)

We had a great stay in Douglas. The host was fantastic throughout โ€“ friendly, responsive and really accommodating. Perfect location โ€“ close to the sea, a short walk to the centre of Douglas and the theatre, plus handy for buses around the island. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, and weโ€™d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely trip to Douglas to bring in the new year, and I'm very happy with my choice of accommodation. The house was easy to find, but we were unable to part right outside. This was no biggie because we managed to find a space a short walk away. We had Room 7, which was on the top floor, so bear that in mind if you have heavy luggage. The room was very clean and had just about everything that you could need for a weeks' stay. If I pop over again for a short break, there's a good chance I'll stay here again.

Beautiful place, warm, with all you may need and more, very comfortable and walking distance from centre, with great sunrise views over the sea. David is an excellent host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

David is a wonderful host, always happy to help and allowed us to check in early and made sure our room was ready due to a change in our transport over to the Isle of Man. The apartment was clean, tidy and has been very well kept, up to high standards for a VERY good price!
