After reading the other reviews I felt confident that David and his property would be fantastic and I was right! Highly recommended the property: the location is spot on and despite being very close to town it’s lovely and quiet. No designated parking but plenty of side street spaces within 2 min walk. The area feels very safe and at no point did we worry abut the car or walking around at night. David as a host is extremely hospitable and responsive- answering any queries and questions via text and calls. Can’t fault him! We will certainly be back and I only hope that by writing this review it doesn’t mean it’s overbooked and I can’t get in! :)

We really enjoyed our weekend break at the Mountain Dream Cottage. Really nice, clean and peaceful place, David was proactive and sent us all the messages and information we needed. We would love to come back one day.

We had a great stay in Douglas. The host was fantastic throughout – friendly, responsive and really accommodating. Perfect location – close to the sea, a short walk to the centre of Douglas and the theatre, plus handy for buses around the island. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, and we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

The apartment was beautiful and in a good location. Very comfortable and the whole apartment was very clean and fresh. The double bed was extremely comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep each night. The sofa bed in the living room was very comfortable too and so easy to set up. The shower was amazing too. Nothing.

David is a great host. Responds quickly to messages. The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The shower was great and the central heating easy to use. The place is only a short walk to the beach and a local Co-Op, where supplies can be picked up. Would definitely recommend.

The price is great the location to town is great the actuall place is clean tidy and cozy its great and would recommend it to everyone and facilities are great as well good large tv both bedroom and living room you have to try this place you will be very happy 😊thank you

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely trip to Douglas to bring in the new year, and I'm very happy with my choice of accommodation. The house was easy to find, but we were unable to part right outside. This was no biggie because we managed to find a space a short walk away. We had Room 7, which was on the top floor, so bear that in mind if you have heavy luggage. The room was very clean and had just about everything that you could need for a weeks' stay. If I pop over again for a short break, there's a good chance I'll stay here again.

The stay was really nice with all the amminities as described. David was very responsive and provided the details in advance. He also was really helpful in storing out stuff after checkout which was such a relief on the last day ! Can’t recommend the place enough ! Will definitely stay in future again !
